To refresh my SketchUp skills so that I can keep up with my students I'm building a couple of Tegel Manor models in SketchUp, one exterior and one interior. Just the manor, by the way, not the dungeons below. It's kind of funny, being mostly one floor, so I might have to take a leaf out of the Japanese castle book and plonk the whole thing on revetment to give it a bit of a commanding position and allow a few windows in the outside walls.
Thing is, what architectural style would you assign to it? Tudor? Elizabethan? Jacobean? Or go continental with Romanesque? Gothic? Renaissance?
Kind of thinking Romanesque at the moment.
