I'm going to start a campaign this November or December using D&D5e, Necro and classic JG, stuff and the new CSIO. For my previous Wilderlands campaign I used Swords & Wizardry Complete.

I'm seriously considering using Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers Of Hyperborea to run the new CSIO when I get it.

Except for the need of making up some of the classic monster types , i.e. dragons, demi-humans, it should work much like OD&D.

I'm a new poster - very happy to see these forums.

AS&SH for me as well. A lot of reviewers claim that it feels more like AD&D, but I don't get that vibe at all (nothing against AD&D which I still play and played for over 20 years). Feels more like Holmes/OD&D/Supplements/SR issues, with a few twists. Very "pulpy" and adaptable as well. When I got my boxed set, the Wilderlands were the first setting I thought of, despite the fact that AS&SH has it's own excellent setting.

OD&D, but I will also use S&W: Whitebox.

Our group currently uses pathfinder. We put in some effort into 3rd edition D&D, and just kinda stayed there, with no compelling reason to invest in something else.
